The big campus with its high buildings, seemed to me something new and different. As I entered the first class, I was awfully surprised by the lecture of the teacher. It was our English class. I enjoyed the class very much. The teacher was taking the class thoroughly in English. It proved something unique about my college teacher. The other teachers also made lasting impressions on me. On the day, I attended five classes. We had to frequently change our rooms to attend another class. At 1:30 pm. there came the tiffin break. I went to the canteen and had some light food there. Paragraph About First Day at My College

My first day at college was really thrilling. I shall never forget the day. I entered the college premises of M.C. College, Sylhet with new hopes and aspirations. The scenic beauty of the college campus was really a wonder to me. As soon as the bell rang, a fair-looking gentleman entered the classroom. He was the Professor of English. He spoke in a very decent and dramatic way with lucid pronunciation. I found a great difference between a school teacher and a college teacher. The classes having been over, I went to the students’ common room. There were arrangements for indoor games in addition to various newspapers and magazines and journals there. I went to the college library and wondered to see so many books there. On the very first day, I developed intimacy with two of my classmates. They invited me to have tea in the college canteen. The canteen was crowded with students. They were listening to the appealing speech of one student leader. We also joined them and enjoyed the art of his speech. I left the college with a mind full of joy and new experience.
